Pierre Campana (Peugeot ) strikes a big blow by signing the scratch in the 28,9km of Marinca? Cagnano with an impressive time of 19’09”7. “I didn’t take a lot of risks but it’s a good time. I especially wanted to protect the brakes”, comments the local driver of the event.

The Bastiais is seven tenths ahead of Dani Sordo (Mini) who had to take more risks to maintain his lead. Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot) gives up 4"6 while his compatriot Mathieu Arzeno (Peugeot) fails at seven seconds. But the big loser of this special is Jan Kopecky (Skoda) who is 17 seconds behind his direct rival for second place. Craig Breen (Peugeot) is more than 49 seconds behind the scratch after spinning.

If Dani Sordo still has a 31 second lead, Pierre Campana takes the advantage over Jan Kopecky to gain second place. The Corsican now has a six-second lead over the Czech. Bryan Bouffier comes back 15 seconds from a place on the podium. Andreas Mikkelsen remains fifth, but it is now Jean-Marc Manzagol (Peugeot) who occupies sixth position with 12 seconds ahead of Craig Breen.
