Eric Brunson increased his lead after the Olemps-Moyrazes-Colombien special. The driver of the Subaru Impreza now has a gap of 26 seconds on Jean-Michel Da Cunha (Citroën WRC), previous leader of the event after the retirement of Dany Snobeck (Citroën C4 WRC) in the third special.
Pierre Roche retains third place, finding himself 1:02:6 behind the leader on his Peugeot 307 WRC. Jean-François Berenguer takes fourth place on his Renault Mégane aux dépens de Gilles Nantet (Porsche GT3), qui glisse en cinquième position.
