The final general classification of the 5th round of the IRC is that retained at the end of SS8, a special stage during which the co-driver of Craig Breen, Gareth Roberts, died. Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000), therefore wins this 96th Targa Florio with 0″8 ahead of his teammate Andreas Mikkelsen, who still misses the opportunity to pin a first rally asphalt to his name.
The rally was suspended by the organizers after the accident which cost the life of the 24-year-old British co-driver.
