Emmanuel Gascou (Peugeot 207 S2000) completes the first stage of the Rally Terre de Langres leads the event with a 25-second lead over Laurent Reuche (Peugeot 207 S2000). Simon Jean-Joseph, also at the wheel of a 207 S2000, is in third place just 27 seconds behind. Thomas Privé is in fourth place with his Subaru Impreza, 40 seconds behind the leader.
Storms disrupted the stage, forcing the crews to run through the wet Langres special stages.
