The 2013 European Rally Championship begins this week with the Jännerrallye in Austria. Contrary to WRC or the IRC, the European Rally Championship also rewards the first seven crews in the categories with bonus points awarded at the end of each stage. Pilots passing through the Rally 2 will only be eligible for bonus points for each day. The Championship will be decided on the basis of the four best results obtained during the first seven events and the four best results from the last six rounds of the season.
