Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) lost the lead Rally of the Azores. The Russian stopped for almost ten minutes to repair his damaged car on the front right in SS12 and thus left the lead of the event to local driver Bruno Magalhaes (Skoda Fabia R5). The Portuguese nevertheless only has a lead of 9 seconds over his compatriot Ricardo Moura (Ford).
