Leader last night at the end of the first stage of the Rally Rzeszow in Poland, counting for the European Championship ERC, Bryan Bouffier started the second day of the event this Saturday in the best possible way.

The French driver imposed his Ford Fiesta R5 over the 22,55 km of the Lubenia 1 sector in 12'50″5 and is ahead of Grzegorz Grzyb (Skoda Fabia R2) by 6″5. Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) takes third place at 3″2 ahead of Marijan Griebel (Skoda Fabia R5), fourth at 4″1 and Filip Nivette (Skoda Fabia R5), who enters the top 5 at 7″8.

Mads Ostberg (Ford Fiesta R5) suffered a puncture in the special, forcing him to change his wheel, before experiencing new problems with overheating brakes. The Norwegian concedes more than 2'50" on Bryan Bouffier, who is now leading the event with 18"8 ahead of Kajetan Kajetanowicz and 31"4 over Marijan Griebel.

Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5), eighth in the SS, moved up to provisional fourth place, since Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda Fabia R5), third before the start of this SS, went off the road.
