Sébastien Ogier is now 17”5 ahead of Dani Sordo and 32”1 over Elfyn Evans
The Rally Italy has a new leader in Sébastien Ogier. Although he scored the scratch, the Frenchman especially took control of the event after the disappointment of Ott Tänak, leader until now. The latter hit a rock which caused major damage. When he stopped, he was unable to finish the special
Sordo crosses the line 11″1 behind Ogier. The latter takes a good lead (17″5) before the afternoon loop
Meanwhile, Ogier set the best time of the special in 12’32″7, 4″1 ahead of Neuville. The Habs will regain control of the rally!
And yes, it was indeed a rock that caused the leader of the event to stop
Tänak appears to have hit a rock on the road which caused major damage to his car
It’s Tänak’s turn to encounter problems! No one escapes it in this special. The Estonian and leader of the event is stopped and even got out of his car! Perhaps victory is gone!
Evans finished 2 seconds behind Neuville in this SS12
The signal came back and we were able to see Neuville set the best provisional time of SS12. 12’36″8 for the Belgian who was 12″2 faster than Rovanperä
Meanwhile, Katsuta finished 4″6 behind Rovanperä for a final time of 12’53″6
Greensmith hasn't left yet. A mechanical failure appears to be the cause of his problem
Loubet is also having problems. The Frenchman also had to stop during special stages when he only had a few hundred meters to go. More information to come

Without much difficulty, Rovanperä outclasses Suninen. The Finn's time shows a time of 12'49, 11″8 faster than his compatriot
