Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) took the scratch in the 2,71km Barque Bicentenario, the 6th special of the Rally of Mexico. Elfyn Evans (Toyota) was the closest with 8 tenths behind, while Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) and Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) fell 2 seconds behind. Esapekka Lappi (M-Sport) followed in 5th place ahead of teammates Teemu Suninen and Gus Greensmith.
Hyundai drivers Ott Tänak and Dani Sordo were still behind with more than 7 seconds behind.
Sébastien Ogier retains the lead with around ten seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen who keeps 2nd place for 6 tenths ahead of Thierry Neuville.
