The Italian from the KTR team won Race 1 in Spielberg, Austria, after his teammate Alexander Albon received a 10” penalty for a stolen start.

FR 2.0 – Ignazio D'Agosto didn't steal it

Si Alexander albon had secured the essentials by signing pole position on the Red Bull Ring and leading a very solid race at the head of the debates, the Thai driver paid the price for his enthusiasm after stealing the start. Penalized 10?? At the end of the event, the KTR resident saw himself fall to 10th place and therefore left the victory to his teammate Ignazio D'Agosto. On the podium, the Italian is ahead of a Frenchman, William Vermont (Arta Engineerring) and Ed Jones (Fortec Motorsports).

Fifth, Oliver Rowland (Manor MP) performed well in the championship, taking a few points ahead of his runner-up, the Frenchman. Pierre Gasly, 7th during this first race of the weekend. Among the other French pilots, very numerous in this category, Esteban Ocon (ART) finished 11th, Alex Baron (ART) 18th, Andrea Pizzitola (ART) 20th, Simon Tirman (Arta) 24th, Leo Roussel (Arta) 26th and Matthieu Vaxivière 27th. After encountering a mechanical problem at the very start of the race, Aurélien Panis was unable to see the checkered flag.
