Frédéric Vervisch wins in Zolder

Craig Dolby (England) hoped to take the lead in the Championship after his pole position for the first race. The Briton won in the first heat but retired in the second, preventing him from competing in the super final. The victory of the second round went to John Martin (Australia).

The Australian could hope for a double blow in the super final, but victory ultimately went to Frédéric Vervisch, who narrowly won ahead of John Martin after being surprised by light drops of rain. The Belgian managed to barely maintain control of his car to win in the final ahead of the Australian and Neel Jani (Belgium at RSC Anderlecht).

Tristan Gommendy (France-Girondins de Bordeaux) had another catastrophic weekend. The Girondin, who started from the penultimate place on the grid for the first race, retired by hitting the pit wall after losing the rear of his car. The Frenchman did barely better in the second race, only taking eleventh place.
