Jean-Eric Vergne took the lead of the race from the start by getting the better of Sergio Canamasas (BVM Target) before the first turn. The Carlin driver protected his position until the finish. “The weekend was perfect”, comments the winner. “We are returning to the Championship race and the summer break is welcome. »

The program pilot Red Bull was pursued by the pole sitter and his teammate Robert Wickens, but both drivers received a ten-second penalty for pitting outside the refueling window. Albert Costa (Epic Racing) took the second step of the podium ahead of Adam Carroll (P1 Motorsport). Robert Wickens finally finished seventh and ceded the Championship lead to his teammate by four points.

Nathanael Berthon (ISR) is tenth just ahead of Arthur Pic (Tech 1 Racing). Disappointment for Nelson Panciatici (KMP Racing) only 17th, just like Daniel Ricciardo (ISR) which finished in 12th place.
