WSR – Arthur Pic and Yann Cunha at AV Formula

AV Formula will make its competitive debut next year by competing in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. Adrian Valles' team will hire Arthur Pic and Yann Cunha, two drivers who already participated in the last season of the World Series by Renault. If the Brazilian completed an apprenticeship season at Pons Racing, the Frenchman has already distinguished himself by winning a victory at Moscow Raceway and another podium at Motorland Aragon within the Dams team. The French driver will work alongside technical director Philippe Gautheron who supported his brother Charles when he competed in the GP2 Series within the Barwa Addax Team.

As for Adrian (Valles), he has an excellent track record in car, with a championship title in Superleague Formula as well as a vice-champion title in Formula Renault 3.5. His experience will be very beneficial for the entire team. I just had shoulder surgery because it was dislocated twice this season and I wasn't at my best physically. The recovery is going well and I am now focused on my preparation for 2013 and eager to start working with my new team. »
