Belén, how are you approaching your first season in ELMS ?

With great enthusiasm. The goal I set for myself last year was to participate in this championship and it was achieved. The level will be very high, but I am very motivated!

You will have to deal with the LM P2 this year, a big difference compared to the LMC. How do you approach it?

I had the opportunity to participate in the Asian Le Mans Series (2023 with Graff Racing. Editor's note) so I'm a little used to it, but the grid will be so full this year with all these LM P2s, that traffic management will be important.

What assessment do you draw from your season in the Le Mans Cup?

I discovered a new world. I really liked the car, but there were no opportunities for me. So I'm happy to have discovered and taken this path, to be able to continue motorsport, which is my passion.

Why did you choose DKR?

I did the Rookie Test with them last year, in Portimão (Portugal). The feelings were very good, we had a good connection with the people on the team. I felt at home from the start. I think we can fight for wins and hopefully the championship. The other nine cars in the category will want to win. It won't be easy and there are no guarantees about it, but we have to fight for it.

Do you think you will be able to race in LM P2 from 2025?

This is a difficult step to take. The field is made up of high-level drivers who have a large budget and who come from single-seaters. It's getting more and more difficult. The important thing will be to make the best decision to be present on the grid, whether in LM P2 or in another category. We will see what the future holds.

Is the future a participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

It won't be easy, but that's my goal.
