Chatin replaces Habsburg at COOL Racing for the 4H of Barcelona

Following Ferdinand Habsburg's injury during a test with Alpine, COOL Racing announced the replacement of the Austrian driver by Paul-Loup Chatin for the opening round of the European Le Mans Series, in Barcelona.

COOL Racing urgently reshuffles the crew of Oreca No. 47. The Swiss team must adapt to the injury – and therefore the package – of Ferdinand Habsburg, injured vertebrae following an accident with theAlpine A424 during private tests in Aragon. The Austrian will be replaced by one of his teammates at Alpine en WEC, Paul-Loup Chatin, within the team led by Nicolas lapierre, also a pilot with the A arrow in the World ChampionshipEndurance.

“Following the unavailability of Ferdinand Habsburg, Paul-Loup Chatin will replace him at the wheel of the No. 47 Oreca for the first round of the European Le Mans Series in Barcelona next week, communicated COOL Racing. The whole team wishes Ferdinand a speedy recovery. » Paul-Loup Chatin therefore joins Frederik Vesti and Alex Garcia aboard prototype no. 47 for the Prologue (April 8-9) and the 4H of Barcelona (April 13-14).
