Panis Racing has revealed its crew for the 2024 European season Le Mans Series. The French team will always trust Manuel Maldonado, already present in 2023.

The Venezuelan will be accompanied by Charles Milesi, pilot Alpine in the Hypercar category of the World ChampionshipEndurance of the FIA, as well as by the Monegasque Arthur Leclerc. Charles' younger brother will thus make his big debut in the discipline in parallel with his participation in the Italian GT with a Ferrari 296 GT3 for the Team Baldini.

« We have assembled a high quality crew and I am very satisfied with it, rejoices Olivier Panis. With Stéphane Dilouya, we have always been at the start to aim for victory and I am convinced that we have the right drivers with Manuel, Charles and Arthur. They are talented, fast and young. This is an important point for me; I want to trust young people and give them the opportunity to shine. They each have different experiences and they will complement each other. I'm really looking forward to seeing them together on the track! I would like to thank Marc VDS, who will be one of our main partners and who allowed us to compose this trio. »

Marc VDS and TDS Racing new partners

One of the new features for the team of the winner of the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix in F1 will thus be this partnership with Marc VDS, in addition to the long-standing one with the Elf brand. The No. 07 Oreca 65 will wear the colors of this new sponsor on a livery which will be presented in the coming days. “ I am extremely happy to have returned to motorsport with Boutsen VDS in GT, but knowing that I will participate this year in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with my friend Olivier Panis and his team is an immeasurable pleasure. » declares Marc van der Straten.

Another major change on the side of Panis Racing: technical support will now be provided by TDS Racing after years of collaboration with Tech1 Racing. “ We shared a great adventure with Tech1 Racing, Sarah and Simon Abadie, declare Olivier Panis and Stéphane Dilouya. We have experienced strong moments, with convincing results in ELMS and podiums at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We are proud of the journey we have achieved together, always with passion and ambition. This will remain as a momentous and unique period in the history of the team. We would like to warmly thank Sarah and Simon for everything that has been accomplished. »

« By partnering for eight years with Olivier Panis and Stéphane Dilouya, my brother Simon and I put all the expertise and know-how of Tech1 Racing at the service of the team, underlines Sarah Abadie. The exponential budgetary constraints of the ELMS championship and the 24 Hours of Mans are forcing us to withdraw from the endurance adventure. The beautiful results obtained made us proud and it is with this feeling that we turn the page. »

« This is a new stage for TDS Racing and we are happy to begin this new chapter with Olivier and the Panis Racing team, which has quality members, adds Xavier Combet. We will bring our know-how to this ambitious project. All the pieces of the puzzle come together to achieve great things in the “LM P2 Pro” category, alongside our “LM P2 Pro-Am” programs in ELMS and IMSA. »

Panis Racing will also be at the start of the 24 2024 Hours of Le Mans.
