The day after the refusal suffered by the Andretti and Cadillac tandem to appear on the starting grid of the Formula 1 in the near future, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has published a first official communication.

The message is very concise. It leaves the door open to a dialogue with Formula 1, while the two entities have been in latent conflict for several years regarding the prospect of welcoming an 11th team to F1. The FIA ​​is campaigning in this direction, while F1, representing the interests of the 10 teams already registered, has always wanted to delay.

What I hope, after the refusal of the FOM to make a place for Andretti - Cadillac, is that the Americans turn their backs on F1 by boycotting the Grands Prix. Andretti has won almost all the championships in which he has participated and the most prestigious.
