Aston Martin dominates Beijing Goldenport

Marc VDS Racing seemed able to score another victory after the pole won by Maxime Martin in the No. 41 Matech Ford GT. But, while the race started in the rain, Bertand Baguette went off the track on the first lap and forced the #41 to retire. The No. 40 of Hennerici-Leinders would in turn retire a few laps later with a mechanical problem.

The Young Driver AMR thus took advantage of the misfortunes of Marc VDS Racing to score the double in Beijing, with the victory of Müller-Enge in the No. 9 DB7 ahead of the No. 8 of Mücke-Turner.

The podium 100% Aston Martin is completed by the No. 4 of Piccini-Hohenadel (Hexis AMR) which is ahead of the No. 23 Nissan GT-R of Luhr-Krumm (JR Motorsport) at the top of the Championship before this weekend. The French team is within two points of JR Motorsport at the end of the qualifying race.

The Lamborghini Murcielago 670 RS of Basseng-Winkelhock (All-Inkl.com) was able to compete for a place on the podium before being given a penalty by the race stewards.

The race ended behind the safety car after national hero Ho-Pin Tung (Corvette Z06 n°11 of the Exim Bank team) a few laps from the goal.
