Martin and Makowiecki on pole at Ordos

Maxime Martin and Frédéric Makowiecki presented themselves as contenders for victory in Ordos. The crew of the No. 41 Ford GT Matech has achieved its objectives for the moment by taking pole in the qualifying race.

Maxime Martin achieved the best time in the qualifying sessions held at Ordos by completing the lap of the Chinese circuit in 1:38:535 at the wheel of the No. 41 Matech Ford GT. The Marc VDS Racing crew is ahead of the No. 22 JRM Racing Nissan GT-R of Richard Westbrook and Peter Dumbreck by only 0??134.

On the second row, Markus Winkelhock and Marc Basseng took third place on the starting grid with the No. 670 All-Inkl.com Munnich Motorsport Lamborghini Murcielago 38 RS (+ 0??233).

The two Sumo GT Power Nissan GT-Rs are grouped together in fourth and fifth position. The No. 20 of Nicky Catsburg and Enrique Bernoldi (+ 0??374) is ahead of the Jamie Campbell-Walter-David Brabham crew (+ 0??697).
