While F1 was putting on a show in every sense of the word in Las Vegas, Macau offered us a weekend of racing like we rarely get these days. Immersed in a 70th edition which kept (unsurprisingly) all its promises.

As luck would have it, the first Las Vegas Grand Prix took place on the same weekend as the return of the “real” Macau. Face to face, two diametrically opposed events. On the one hand, a race born from the success of the Formula 1 modern driven by Liberty Media, on the other a historic motorsport event, back after three last editions strongly impacted by the health crisis. And it is clear that there was no match between the two for multiple reasons.
