Almost 3 months after the last round at Monza, the Porsche Carrera Cup France returns to Spain, on the Barcelona circuit. On the program this Friday, the discovery of the track with the two free practice sessions.

Under a gentle October sun, it was time for the pilots and mechanics to clean up in the morning. From 10:10 a.m., the cars set off for 40 minutes of free practice. In the pits, the teams found their feet and resumed good tire changing habits. On the track, Marvin Klein (CLRT) quickly got up to speed and found the right settings to get to the top of the timesheet. What Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras) failed to do, only 6th. The championship leader did not seem worried before starting the second free practice session.

A final session which allowed everyone to refine their preparation before the very important day of Saturday. During these 40 minutes some took risks, like Arthur Mathieu who took a turn in the gravel at the very end of the session. The Spark by Racing Technology driver had to wait for the marshals to remove his car from the bin.

The first big moment of the Spanish round is scheduled for 12:25 p.m. this Saturday with qualifying. A session where the track could be slightly wet since there is a 35% chance of rain a few hours before the light turns green.

The first race will take place at 18:10 p.m. with the sun setting and temperatures cooler than during practice. An additional factor to manage for the drivers throughout the 4.675 kilometers of the circuit. A very important race with a view to the title since Dorian Boccolacci (Martinet by Alméras) and Marvin Klein (CLRT) are separated by 23 points.
