Saintéloc, the “little private” wins the Andros

The Saintéloc Racing team really wanted to triumph during the 2011 edition of the Andros Trophy. And to achieve this objective, Sébastien Chetail's structure gave itself the means to achieve its ambitions by securing the services of the man who was then the outgoing double champion, namely Jean-Philippe Dayraut. After the Skoda Fabia, the Toulouse resident took the wheel of a BMW 1 Series.

“Jean-Philippe is Iceman, confides Sébastien Chetail to AUTOhebdo.fr. He masters everything, leaves nothing to chance. Before races, he walks the track many times with his engineer. Today, we could actually call him a genius or an extra-terrestrial. »

All that remained was to provide him with the equipment allowing him to express himself on the ice.

“The 2011 Andros Trophy was extremely tough, continues the boss of Saintéloc Racing. We had everything to prove, but also had pressure because we had made the transfer of the year by recruiting Jean-Philippe. We should not disappoint him, nor disappoint the partners. There was a big wait. We took up the challenge and I am really very proud of it. With a private program, we manage to do something great against the manufacturers Dacia and Skoda. It was a bit like the builders against the ?small private sector? ".

Next winter, Jean-Philippe Dayraut will try to win a fourth consecutive crown. The Toulouse resident hopes to once again defend the colors of Saintéloc Racing, because according to him, loyalty always pays. There is therefore a strong chance that Sébastien Chetail and the three-time champion will meet again for the 2012 edition of the Andros Trophy with, they hope, the support of a manufacturer.
