2019 saw the prototype developed by the German brand's Motorsport division set a new record for an electric car at the Nürburgring, at Goodwood, thanks to Romain Dumas, and attack the infernal climb of Mount Tianmen in China to claim its first real record at the foot of the Gate of Paradise.
