Jean-Eric Vergne (Carlin), leader of the championship F3 British, won this Saturday during the first race at Rockingham! The Frenchman of Red Bull Junior Team, third on the grid, took control at the start, notably gaining the upper hand over Oli Webb (Fortec), pole sitter and title candidate. This is the sixth victory, in thirteen races, for JEV, which consolidates its position as leader of the general classification. He beat Colombian Carlos Huertas and Briton Oli Webb.
