Jean-Eric Vergne (Carlin) had a good qualifying session at Rockingham, venue for the fifth round of the championship. F3 British, but was beaten by his toughest opponent, the Briton Oli Webb (Fortec). The latter will start on pole for races 1 and 3 of the weekend. With the second time, Jean-Eric Vergne obtains second place on the grid for race 3. Third in the ranking of second best times, JEV will start third in the first race. As for the second round of the weekend, the starting grid is determined by the classification of race 1.
