The new championship F1 Academy now knows all its participants! Only the last Prema seat remained vacant, but is now occupied by another WSeries defector, Marta Garcia. The 22-year-old Spaniard competed in the championship from 2019 to 2022, where she had one victory, three podiums and one pole under her belt. After a notable debut in karting, Garcia integrates the car in 2016 by joining the F4 Spain championship during the season. Its first full campaign will take place the following year, still in the same category, supported by the Renault Sport Academy until the end of the 2017 season.

« I'm super happy to ride with PREMA in F1 Academy, says Garcia. I think it's a great opportunity for me to show what I'm capable of, and it's great to do it with PREMA, which is one of the best structures in motorsport. I look forward to working with them and bringing their colors to the front of the grid in this new championship. »
« We look forward to working with Garcia, who has shown impressive results in the past, underlines Rene Rosin, team principal of the team. We believe she can be part of the top group in F1 Academy, so joining her is perfectly natural. She also has a lot of experience, which is a real advantage for the team. »
The young Spaniard will officiate alongside Philippine Bianca Bustamante and Chloe Chong in the Italian team, from the first round of this inaugural championship on the Red Bull Ring (Austria), April 28 and 29.
