Austrian Martin Ragginger won in Shanghai in the penultimate race of the season, after overtaking pole sitter Rodolfo Avila. The Macanese climbed onto the second step of the podium, the Chinese Ho-Pin Tung on 3rd.

Author of the 3rd qualifying time, Benjamin Rouget made a good start, finishing 2nd after the first braking, but he had to give in on the 3rd lap, his Porsche suffering from understeer. Having dropped to 7th, Rouget regained 6th place after the intervention of a safety car.

As for Alexandre Imperatori, champion since the end of qualifying, he finished just off the podium after starting from 5th place.

The track remained dry for this Saturday's races, despite gloomy weather, but the weather forecast for tomorrow is better.
