Bruno Spengler (BMW) won his third victory of the season at Oschersleben where the Canadian started from pole. The winner moves up to second place in the Championship and is 12 points behind leader Gary Paffett (Mercedes) who takes second place ahead of Jamie Green (Mercedes) who falls to third place in the Drivers' standings. The BMW M3s DTM by Dirk Werner and Augusto Farfus complete the top five.
