If there's something that Fabien Coulthard didn't expect, it's being on the bench for the 2022 Supercars season. Initially confirmed at PremiAir Racing, Fabian Coulthard was suddenly replaced by Chris Pither. A decision that “Fabs” probably did not understand.
« It's like that. I had no control over it, he whispered on the Supercars website. I had an agreement for 2022 so I was preparing for it then I had the rug pulled out from under me.
I would obviously like to be back in 2023. This year will now be quieter than expected but I would like to run wherever and whenever I can.."
While waiting to find a wheel for 2023 or a co-driver position for the Bathurst 1000 at the end of the year, Fabian Coulthard will compete in the first round of TCR Australia this weekend in Tasmania.
