Mattias Ekström, the double champion of DTM in 2004 and 2007, will participate in the Rallycross of the X-Games in Munich, which will take place this weekend in the Olympic stadium in the Bavarian city. The Swede will take the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo R Supercar from the Marklund Motorsport team. Exactly the same vehicle that should have been driving Carlos Sainz at the X-Games in Barcelona, if they had not been canceled due to rain.
