Earl Bamber (Fach Auto Tech) achieved the best time in testing for the Porsche Supercup at Hockenheim by setting a time of 1'43"649. Christian Engelhart (Konrad Motorsport) is the closest with only 72 thousandths behind. The gaps are tight since Nicki Thiim (Lechner Racing Team) completes the top three at 88 thousandths. Kuba Giermaziak (Lechner Racing Team) and Michael Ammermüller (Lechner Racing Team) completed the top five, four tenths behind. Kévin Estre (McGregor by Attempto Racing) finished in eighth position, half a second behind. Wilcard Patrick Dempsey (Porsche AG) set the 26th fastest time out of the 28 entered, placing himself just over three seconds behind the reference time.
