Kasey Kahne (Red Bull Racing Team) won on the Phoenix oval ahead of Carl Edwards (Roush Fenway Racing) and Tony Stewart (Stewart-Haas Racing). Jeff Burton (Richard Childress Racing) finished 4th ahead of Ryan Newman (Stewart-Haas Racing), AJ Allmendinger (Richard Petty Motorsports) and David Reutimann (Michael Waltrip Racing). The duel will take place between the two leaders of the Chase who have not been separated since recent weekends.
