The Volkswagen Polo R's from the PSRX Volkswagen Sweden were the fastest at the World RX tests in Montalegre (Portugal).
Petter Solberg set the best time in 37''725, 17 thousandths ahead of his teammate Johan Kristoffersson. Mattias Ekström (Audi) completed the top three at 88 thousandths, preceding the Peugeot 208 WRX by Timmy Hansen, Sébastien Loeb and Kevin Hansen who rank several tenths from the reference.
Janis Baumanis (Ford) took the seventh fastest time ahead of the Hyundai i20 by Timur Timerzyanov and Niclas Grönholm. Guerlain Chicherit (Renault) completed the Top 10 by more than six tenths, ahead of Andreas Bakkerud (Audi) and the Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiestas driven by Kevin Eriksson and Robin Larsson. Grégoire Demoustier (Peugeot) finished 14th ahead of Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Renault).
