Pieter Tsjoen (Ford Focus WRC) took advantage of the first three special stages of the morning in Pas-de-Calais to widen a colossal gap at the top of the standings Rally du Touquet. Before entering the final timed section, during the seafront super special, the Belgian has 5:41?? ahead of Claudie Tanghe (Toyota Celica GT4), 8?05?? on Thomas Barral (Abarth Grande Punto S2000) and 8?55?? on Manu Guigou (Renault Clio R3).
