Through this first video, we can go behind the scenes of the making of the film Gran Turismo. The story is based on that of Jann Mardenborough (played by Archie Madekwe) a player who won the GT Academy (a detection competition in the video game Gran Turismo) before being recruited by Nissan as a real racing driver. In his learning of car racing in the real world, he will be guided by a veteran driver, played by David Harbor (actor in the series Stranger Things, in particular). Other renowned actors, such as Orlando Bloom, Darren Barnet, Djimon Hounsou and Geri Halliwell-Horner will complete the cast.
In the first images, we also discover the filming conditions, which take place on the Hungaroring, in Hungary. As a reminder, Sony had announced the start of filming in November 2022. The film adaptation of the Gran Turismo saga is scheduled to hit theaters in summer 2023.
