At a special stage of the arrival of Rally from Ypres in Belgium, the Belgian Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia R5) is in a strong position to achieve a tenth success in his favorite event. Stéphane Lefebvre (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) won the scratch ahead of Bryan Bouffier (Citroën DS3 R5). Disillusionment on the other hand for Romain Dumas (Porsche 911 R-GT), fourth before the start of this special, and which was reported stopped in the timed sector.
The Frenchman's worries notably benefit Lefebvre who is back in the top 5.
