The ACO has confirmed the first firm commitments for the 2017-2018 Asian Le Mans Series.

Asian Le Mans Series – The first entries for 2017-2018

Three LM P2s and a GT are already in the running to compete in the 2017-2018 season. Asian Le Mans TV Shows, as confirmed by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest. The reigning champions in the LM P2 category, Algarve Pro Racing, will put their crown on the line during the next campaign, with a Ligier JS P2 entrusted to the duo Ate de Jong – Tack Sung Kim.

ARC Bratislava will also be taking part in LM P2, after having evolved in LM P3 in 2016-2017 with a Ginetta. The structure will field a Ligier JS P2, just as was the case at the last 24 Hours of Le Mans. Miro Konopka is already confirmed for the car, with the second driver still to be named.

Third in GT during the last edition of the Asian series, Team BBT and its driver Anthony Liu will make the jump from GT to LM P2, with a Ligier JS P2. A GT category which will see the arrival of a Ferrari 488 GT3 – Spirit of Race, driven by Rui Aguas and Nasrat Muzayyin.
