  • A Sunday with a Portuguese accent, on the Yas Marina circuit! The second race of the 4H of Abu Dhabi, the last round of the 2024 ALMS season, was won by the No. 07 Oreca 25 from the Algarve Pro Racing team.
  • The McMurry – Tomlinson – Sowery trio won thanks to ideal timing with… the red flag, deployed after an hour of racing following the accident between the #55 Proton Competition and the #8 Porsche EBM. The first driver change took place right when the race had to be stopped, making APR the only team to have a driver change at the time of the restart. This dream situation allowed them to remain at the top of the LM P2 category with a large lead, maintained throughout an uninterrupted race over the last two hours.
  • The podium of these 4H of Abu Dhabi is completed by the No. 24 Oreca from Nielsen Racing and the No. 22 Oreca from the Proton Competition team. Seventh at the finish, the No. 4 Oreca from the Crowdstrike Racing team, winner the day before and leading the ALMS championship at the start of this final round, won the title in the LM P2 category thanks to the new poor performance from 99 Racing. This title offers the Portuguese team a new invitation for 24 Hours of Le Mans 2024 in the LM P2 class.
  • If Bretton Racing won in the LM P3 category, it was COOL Racing who won the title in the LM P3 category after a suspenseful finale. The Swiss team, second at the finish of the race, beat its main opponent CD Sport thanks in particular to a drive-through suffered by the Ligier n°2 in the last half hour of the race.
  • The only Lamborghini entered in the ALMS, the No. 19 from the Leipert Motorsport team, won in the last round of the season ahead of the Mercedes-AMG Triple Eight n°88 and the Porsche PureRxcing n°91 which, thanks to this podium, wins the title in the GT category. The Lithuanian team also wins a new invitation for the 24 2024 Hours of Le Mans, in the LMGT3 class.
