Hasse-Clot and Martin with Garage 59 in Asian LMS

Accustomed to GT World Challenge Europe and British GT, the English team Garage 59 wants to aim for 24 Hours of Le Mans via the Asian Le Mans Series. The structure will hire two Aston Martin in the competition this season.

The No. 88 will have a very French accent, since the official driver of the English brand, Maxime Martin will lead the crew. The Belgian winner of the 24 2020 Hours of Le Mans in GTE-Pro will be present alongside French hopeful Valentin Hasse-Clot, winner of the GT4 European series in 2020.

“As soon as I heard Asian Le Mans Series, I immediately thought of Le Mans,” reacted Valentin Hasse-Clot. “As a Frenchman, racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans is a childhood dream and I now have the chance to fight for a place in this legendary race with Garage 59.” They will be supported by the Briton Alexander West and will feature among the favorites of the competition.

The #89 will be driven by Mike Benham, Marvin Kirchhöfer and Yuki Nemoto. “Each crew has a platinum or gold driver, a silver and a bronze,” specifies the team, which wants to give both cars a chance of qualifying for the 24 Hours of Le Mans thanks to the invitations distributed to the winners of each category.
