La Ligier JS P3 – R24 will be entrusted to a new 100% female crew for the Asian final Le Mans 2018-2019 Series in Sepang, Malaysia (February 22_24).

With the support of Richard Mille, at the initiative of the project, Margot Laffite, Katherine Legge and Michelle Gatting, will drive the LM P3 prototype n°50 during the event organized over a period of 4 hours.

“The presence of these three young drivers in a prototype for the final of the Asian Le Mans Series is not a surprise but a very good surprise, admits Pierre Fillon, president of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest.

I thank and support Richard Mille in his project and his involvement. The quality of this trio, its experience and its diversity can only play a driving role, motivate and train all those who are tempted by the adventure Endurance, behind the wheel or around the car, with the aim of competing in the most difficult race in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With Richard Mille, we share these convictions. »

Margot Laffite leaves the winter campaign of Andros Trophy, when Katherine Legge recently competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona in the Acura NSX GT3 of Heinricher Racing with Meyer Shank Racing. Michelle Gatting is a regular at the Danish Circuit Championships.
