Sarrazin Motorsport is eyeing endurance

After rally, it is endurance which will constitute the next objective of Sarrazin Motorsport. The team of Stephane Sarrazin launches its section Endurance with a desired commitment from this year in Asian Le Mans Series with a Ligier JS P3 already ordered. An Oreca 05 could also be there, before a higher objective with theELMS the following year.

« This will offer our drivers the opportunity to benefit from the most comprehensive support possible, ranging from management, through ultra-personalized coaching in testing to racing driving, comments Sarrazin.

In addition, we will also offer our services to non-hybrid LM P2 and LM P1 teams who will be able to benefit from a very wide range of resources, both human and logistical, to help them progress and achieve better results in competition. In all cases, and whatever operations we will have to carry out, the key words will be professionalism, determination and performance. »

A real sector

The French driver wishes to create a sector within his own team, and has enlisted the services of Philippe Charissoux for the position of Team Principal who will manage the company and lead an international technical team.

« In addition to my activities for the development of KCMG Composites, it is with great pleasure that we move Stéphane and I to an additional level of our collaboration, explains Philippe Charissoux.

But little time to savor, because our objectives are ambitious in order to finalize a crew with “line drivers” on our Ligier JSP3 in the Asian Le Mans Series while doing everything possible to enter an Oreca 05 in LMP2 in order to aim for the title… "

“It was essential that my experience in endurance not only remained something that only I could benefit from, underlines Sarrazin. Thanks to my expertise in the discipline and the journeys that I have been able to complete with many prestigious teams such as Oreca, Aston Martin, Peugeot or currently Toyota, this new division will be a real educational, technical and sporting springboard from which drivers from all continents will be able to benefit.

Today, this type of sector is mainly developed in car for young talents. Our team will now offer an alternative 100% oriented towards endurance racing both for Gentlemen Drivers and for the future hopes of the discipline. »
