Clearly, the Lancia 037 has been at the heart of the news lately. While she is starring in the film “Race for glory: Audi vs Lancia”, retracing the duel between the two manufacturers, the Italian will be in the spotlight during the 2024 edition of the Tour de Corse historique which will take place from October 5 to 12.
Preview at the stand of the event, which will celebrate its 24the edition this year, at Rétromobile last February, the Lancia 037 will this time be in action, 40 years after its success in France.
« We would like to celebrate the 1984 Lancia double and Markku Alén's victory by bringing together several examples of Lancia 037, explained organizer Marie-Ange Dini to visitors present at the Rétromobile stand. We have therefore decided to offer special conditions to owners of this model of which there are only 200 units in the world. »
A sold-out Historic Tour of Corsica
Concerning the show, this 24e Historical Tour of Corsica is already sold out. The 380 places available have all been taken by competitors. See you now in June to find out the entry list.
The route of the event is planned over 5 stages for 1.000 kilometers of road. Please note that the cars in the VHRS and Legend classes will start this year before those registered in VHC during the first 4 stages. “ A choice which can be explained by a desire to highlight the wide variety of models regularly entered,” explains the organization.
