That's it ! The long-awaited day has arrived. This Saturday at 16:00 p.m., the 62 crews entered will attack the 90e edition of 24 Hours of Le Mans.
This Saturday afternoon is the Toyota No. 8 which will bring with it the peloton for the 24 2022 Hours of Le Mans. The New Zealander Brendon Hartley indeed offered an 8e pole position for the Japanese manufacturer in the Sarthe, ahead of the sister car and theAlpine A480. The two 007s from Glickenhaus completed the Top 5 of the starting grid.
After a new BoP update,Alpine has had its power taken away and should not be able to challenge Toyota's two GR010s. The French team will therefore have to monitor the Glickenhaus to maintain its place in the Top 3.
In LM P2, it was the No. 07 Oreca 31 from WRT (Gelael-Frijns-Rast) which took pole position ahead of the No. 22 from United Autosports and the No. 38 from JOTA. For his first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Prema scored a fine 5e place in category.
IN GTE Pro, Corvette secured the first row with the No. 63 ahead of the No. 64. If the Ferrari finished more than 1“6, the American mounts will have to keep an eye on those of the Prancing Horse since they received a slight boost after the last BoP adjustment. Finally in GTE Am, Vincent Abril was the fastest in the Hyperpole with the No. 488 AF Corse Ferrari 61 GTE Evo.
