The pilots Alpine impatient to return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans

In less than a week, Alpine Elf Endurance Team will tackle the monument of the calendar of WEC, 24 Hours of Le Mans. After their victory over the 1000 Miles of Sebring and second place at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, the French team is moving into the shoes of the leader in the standings. But before attacking the double turn of the clock on Saturday June 11, the drivers were able to meet the public during the traditional weigh-in, back in the city center of Le Mans this year.

On board theAlpine A480 n°36, Mathieu Vaxivière will participate for the 5th time in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and this year the French brand has chosen continuity. “ The fact of approaching my second consecutive edition with Alpine and the same teammates are, however, a great help », Explains the native of Limoges.

Surf the start of the season to Alpine

The French team intends to build on the momentum of the start of the year and extend the series of 8 podiums in a row. “ I think the team has worked well since last year and we have been able to progress on a multitude of small details to be ready, ad Nicolas Lapierre. The results at the start of the season demonstrated this and I hope that this will be the case again during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. »
