There was no photo. Despite an error in the sixth minute of the race, allowing Graff Racing to lead the race for just under an hour, the No. 07 Oreca 4 of Nielsen Racing, part of pole position, won four laps ahead of the team from Morangis (Essonne), which finished first in LM P2 Pro-Am. The trio composed of Rodrigo Sales, Ben Hanley and Matt Bell thus built up a margin of one lap per hour over David Droux, Éric Trouillet and Sébastien Page. Dennis Andersen, Anders Fjordbach and Kevin Weeda completed the overall podium for High Class Racing. ARC Bratislava finished in fourth place after encountering problems in the first hour.

DKR Engineering's woes benefit CD Sport

In LM P3, the sky fell on the heads of DKR Engineering. While the Luxembourg team was leading its category, the No. 2 Duqueine then driven by Laurents Hörr retired twenty minutes from the checkered flag, immobilized at the side of the track. This gave the CD Sport team a double, with the #3 crew of Michael Jensen, Nick Adcock and Frenchman Édouard Cauhaupé ahead of the #27 of Christophe Cresp, Antoine Doquin and Steven Palette. CD Sport operating on two Ligiers, this also offers a double for the French manufacturer. G-Drive completed the podium with Fabrice Rossello, Xavier Llovera and Vyaceslav Gutak. On the podium fifteen minutes from time, Rinaldi Racing lost everything in the final moments. It was also a real massacre in this LM P3 category, because only the first three finished ahead of the GTs.

Inception Racing wins close GT fight

In GT, the fight was more fierce with minimal gaps in the race, the different cars often moving close together. Starting from pole position, the Inception Racing team won with Brendan Iribe, Ollie Millroy and Ben Barnicoat. There McLaren 720S GT3 beat the Ferrari 488 GT3 from Rinaldi Racing (Rino Mastronardi, David Perel and Davide Rigon). This result could nevertheless be called into question, because Ben Barnicoat would not have slowed down sufficiently under the Full Course Yellow. The provisional podium is completed by the AF Corse n°17 of Louis Prette, Vincent Abril and Conrad Grunewald. SPS automotive performance finishes first Pro-Am team with Valentin Plerburg, John Loggie and Mikael Grenier.

See you this Sunday at 14:30 p.m. French time for the second race of the weekend at the Dubai Autodrome. To follow live video on AUTOhebdo.fr
