James Allen is on a roll right now. Already winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona in the photo finish in the LM P2 category, the Australian once again crossed the finish line as winner this Saturday, at the 4 Hours of Dubai. The 26-year-old driver got the better of Charlie Eastwood (DKR Engineering) in the final hour to give victory to Algarve Pro Racing and his teammates Kyffin Simpson and John Falb.

The Portuguese team could have lost everything when its American driver, the Bronze of the trio, spun after just half an hour of racing. More fear than harm for Falb, but the #25 APR was then outside the podium, in fourth place. The Barbadian Kyffin Simpson then James Allen then led the chase to get back into the lead occupied by DKR Engineering.

After an interlude of Nikita mazepin (99 Racing) at the top of the standings, Eastwood and Allen battled for victory in the final hour. This ultimately fell into the hands of the Melbourne native. The last torchbearer for 99 Racing after Mazepin, Neel Jani completed the podium for the British team, penalized by the last minute absence of Félix Porteiro and the arrival of Gonçalo Gomes after many twists and turns.

Cocorico in LM P3 with a Ligier hat-trick and a double from the French teams. MV2S Racing thus won its category with the No. 29 driven by Jerome de Sadeleer, Viacheslav Gutak and Fabien Lavergne. Graff Racing took second place with the No. 8 from the trio Fabrice Rossello, Xavier Lloveres and François Heriau.

We could even talk about a tricolor triplet since CD Sport completed the podium with Michael Jensen, Nick Adcock and Valdemar Eriksen. Although the company is based in France, the team flies the Spanish flag in ALMS.

No fault of Walkenhorst Motorsport in GT since the BMW M4 GT3 won from pole. The trio Chandler Hull, Nicky Catsburg and Thomas Merrill were never worried.

See you this Sunday at 12 p.m. (French time) for the second race of the Dubai weekend.
