Earlier this month, High Class Racing announced its intention to participate in the next edition of IMSA, in LMP2. The Danish team does not intend to stop there since it has announced its intention to participate in the Asian Le Mans Series in 2022. To drive the Oreca 07-Gibson, we will find regulars Anders Fjordbach and Dennis Andersen. The two pilots, already engaged in IMSA next season, will begin their eighth year of collaboration.

“I love new challenges, and this is the one I was looking forward to, says Dennis Andersen. The team is now established in this LMP2 category after many years of hard work, so it is the perfect scenario to test ourselves in this short endurance racing format. I can’t wait to start in Dubai.”

“I am looking forward to taking on this new challenge in the United Arab Emirates, enthuses Anders Fjordbach. The Asian Le Mans Series is always attractive and I think we can have a lot of fun. Dennis and I know each other very well and have worked with Kevin before, so it won't take long for us to connect and give our best in the first race.”

They will be joined by Kevin Weeda, former resident of WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Lotus.“I am delighted to team up with Anders and Dennis for the Asian Le Mans Series, comments Kevin Weeda. We did some excellent testing and I accompanied them to Le Mans this year. I'm lucky and grateful that they included me in their Asian Le Mans lineup ».

On the program, four races are planned between February 11 and 20, starting with the 4H of Dubai for the next two events, then ending with the 4H of Abu Dhabi for the last two races.
