Mercedes F1 strategist James Vowles enters Asian Le Mans Series

James Vowles, strategist Mercedes F1, is he as good in the paddock as behind the wheel? We will know soon! One of the key men in Brackley's success in recent seasons will take part in the Asian Le Mans Series in GT3. The Asian Le Mans Series is a championship ofEndurance of four four-hour races spread over two consecutive weekends, in Dubai (February 12-13) then Abu Dhabi (February 19-20). James Vowles will be at the wheel of a #720 McLaren 3S GT59 fielded by Garage59.

The British engineer will share the wheel of the British car with Manuel Maldonado, Pastor's cousin and ALMS LM P3 champion, and Nicolai Kjaergaard, Danish GT driver. The second McLaren from the Garage59 team, the No. 88, will be driven by Frank Bird, Marvin Kirchhöfer and Alexander West.
