Laurents Hörr: “We were waiting for this victory”

Bad luck has finally decided to leave DKR Engineering. After a Dubai weekend marked by technical problems, the Luxembourg team won the first round of the 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi. To the great relief of the trio Sebastian Alvarez, Mathieu de Barbuat and Laurents Hörr. “We are very happy, because it takes some of the pressure and stress off us, confided the German after the race. We were waiting for this victory. Unfortunately, we were hoping for more from the races held in Dubai. This success has finally arrived and we are relieved.” 

Even if the mission seems impossible in the championship to win the LM P3 category, Kendy Janclaes' men will give everything from pole position to win a second victory in a row. “The strategy will be to repeat what we did and win again from first position,” confirms the German from DKR Engineering. With 16 points behind CD Sport, the LM P3 title remains mathematically possible for DKR Engineering, but it will be necessary to count on failures from the other contenders during the final round of the season, contested this Sunday from 13:30 p.m. French time, still in Yas Marina.
