Yifei Ye in Asian Le Mans Series with Porsche

Named Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific driver last October, Yifei Ye will ride with Herberth Motorsport in Asian Le Mans Series cette saison. Le pilote chinois épaulera Antares Au et Klaus Bachler dans la Porsche 911 GT3 R. Ce sera le premier championnat avec la marque allemande pour le champion ELMS in LM P2 with Team WRT.

“I am very happy to participate in my first series as a selected driver of Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific, confides the pilot. I have prepared well this winter and I am looking forward to getting to know the team and my teammates, and we will do everything we can to achieve a positive result. The level of competition in the GT class is expected to be very high, so it will be a challenge, but I'm relishing the chance to push myself in the car. I know the championship and the venues quite well, so I hope I can use that to my advantage. I raced in Asian LMS last year in LM P2 and won on my endurance debut, so I hope to repeat that success. »

The Asian Le Mans Series season will take place from February 12 to 20 in the United Arab Emirates. The rest of Yifei Ye's program will be known later.
